Pippen and Ewing

It’s a day after my birthday and finally, I’m able to write
down something for my very not up to date blog.

It’s Pippen and it’s Ewing. The two Big names
came across my mind, right away when I saw those candles. I spontaneously say…”Damn Boy, it feels like Pippen..” when my friends sang the
birthday song…

They’re the two famous big franchise names in the NBA circa 90’s.
They both have their legendary name written on the number 33 jersey, one with
the Bulls and the other with the Knicks. I think everyone couldn’t agree more
that they were both are among the best players that have ever played in the NBA.
Though I always love Olajuwon better at the center, and Barkley at forward (and
these two coincidently are famous with their number 34 jerseys)

I’m 33 years old now, and I guess I still yet have reached
anything close to be considered as monumental as Pippen’s NBA back to back world
champions ring..
I know I have come a long way, but haven’t conquered any giant peak.
I know I may have wasted so many things that and times that
other people might called me a loser ..

But I still gonna try to achieve it…so I can have something
that I can be proud of…and maybe, even though I will eventually come out empty
handed and remembered just as a “good man” …I will STILL give my best..
Just like what Ewing did in his long career that eventually ended with no NBA championship ring

..something that in my opinion still make him as “a
great man” in his own right.

…pheew…

Damn man, either it’s Pippen or Ewing..I just never wanna have to regret it.

PS: I want to thanks all of my friends, all of you guys who
showed up and gave me that little midnite surprise party, who gave me those “surprising”
presents, all you guys who wrote to me, sent me texts, called and gave me all those
best wishes, prayers, hugs and kisses..

You guys are the BESTEST of friends that any half way running
guy like me could’ve asked for. I can only hold y’all in this special place in
my age-weakened heart, Forever!
